Orthomol Junior Omega Plus is a dietary supplement for children. It contains iron to support normal cognitive development in children, as well as omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, and B vitamins.

The supplement includes vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B6, vitamin B12, biotin, folic acid (folate), niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, and minerals (trace elements like magnesium and zinc). It also contains omega-3 fatty acids.

Large amounts of omega-3 fatty acids are found in fish oil. These include especially the polyunsaturated fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which are components of cell membranes (e.g., nerve cells).
