Kerato Vita Ophthalmic Ointment - 5g

Kerato VitA® is a preservative-free eye ointment that contains petrolatum, liquid paraffin, lanolin, cetostearyl alcohol and purified water, plus vitamin A, vitamin E and D-panthenol. Kerato VitA® is used to improve long-term tear film quality and intensive eye surface protection. The cell protection properties of the preparation allow normal re-epithelialization in case of disorders caused by dryness. Kerato VitA® spreads very well on the surface of the eyes due to its delicate and soft consistency. The ingredients of the preparation, especially vitamin A, which is a natural component of the tear film, ensure a particularly good tolerance of the preparation. Kerato VitA® reduces symptoms such as burning, dryness and eyestrain. Blinking gets easier. D-Panthenol, which is converted into pantothenic acid in the body, is one of the B group vitamins. D-Panthenol increases water binding capacity, is well absorbed by the skin and has moisturizing properties. Long-term Kerato VitA® relieves symptoms of dryness, irritation or mild irritation, which can be caused mainly by: surroundings, eg. air conditioning, wind or air pollution caused by ex. from cigarette smoke eyestrain caused by prolonged staring, eg. on the monitor screen, through a microscope or during a long car journey mechanical stress, e.g. caused by wearing hard or soft contact lenses or performing eye diagnostic procedures.

For long-term improvement in tear film quality and intensive ocular surface protection, Kerato VitA® is generally used 3 times a day. For an intense and long-lasting effect on irritated eyes, it is especially recommended to use the product before bed. Remove the cap from the tube, tilt the head back slightly, pull the lower eyelid gently and squeeze the tube gently, place a sample strip of about 0.5 cm in length into the conjunctival sac, slowly close the eye, and then then carefully close the tube.
