HAIRGEN® Capsules have standardized natural extracts of Serenoa repens, grape seed (Vitis vinifera) and olive leaf (Olea europea). The extracts release nutrients, minerals and antioxidants (polyphenolic compounds) that strengthen and thicken hair and stimulate new growth. The action of Serenoa Repens prolongs the hair's life cycle, inhibiting 5 alpha-reductase, thus preventing the negative effects of androgens on the hair follicles, without side effects. Grapeseed extract (Vitis vinifera) is an oil rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, tocopherols, phytosterols and proanthocyanins. These components are responsible for the various actions of this oil: they protect the follicle from inflammation, stimulate the microcirculation allowing the different components to penetrate the hair follicle and enter its composition and simultaneously fight the aging of the hair follicle. Olive leaf (Olea europea) contains polyphenolic compounds such as oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol with very high antioxidant activity and an action on the blood vessels that supply the hair follicle, improving the skin microcirculation needed to nourish the hair follicle. The addition of hydroxytyrosol to the formula reinforces the antioxidant action as it is a very powerful antioxidant. L-cystine, an important amino acid as it is one of the amino acids with a dual function, improves hair quality and texture and prolongs the anagen phase. The presence of Vitamin E and Vitamin B7, also known as Biotin, have a synergistic action with the other components. Vitamin E in the form of succinate is more easily absorbed by the body, improving its action. Vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative stress. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of healthy hair, the normal production of energy through metabolism and the normal metabolism of macronutrients.
