Alasod is a food supplement based on α-lipoic acid and superoxide dismutase that allows a dual mechanism of antioxidant action in the body: superoxide dismutase prevents the formation of free radicals and α-lipoic acid helps to eliminate free radicals already formed. Adjuvant in situations of oxidative stress due to an increase in free radicals, which require a greater amount of antioxidants available in the body. ALAsod is a nutritional supplement formulated with α-lipoic acid, superoxide dismutase (SOD), vitamin E and selenium that contributed to the protection of cells from oxidative stress generated by the increase in hair growth. Oxidative stress is defined as a situation in which there is a biochemical imbalance between the production of a light radical that does not respect the neutralizing capacity of the endogenous antioxidant system.
