Clean and disinfect the wound and, if necessary, stop the bleeding.Disinfect, rinse and dry the wound completely.Rinse with saline and dry the wound edges with a sterile dressing.Open the sachet, then hold the dressing by the two flaps of protective paper. Carefully press the edges.The dressing may remain in place for up to 7 days.Check that the individual sterile packaging is intact before use.Avoid applying tension when applying the dressing.Check the wound or puncture points and the surrounding area regularly for signs of infection, such as unusual pain, redness, edema, odor or suppuration.
