Urgo Optiskin Transparent Strip thanks to its polyurethane support prevent water and bacteria from entering the wound, while allowing the wound to breathe, avoiding the risk of maceration. Thanks to its transparency, they allow to monitor the saturation of the compress and, consequently, make a better control of the wound treatment. The non-stick netting shape of the dressing allows it to be removed without pain. Sterile, flexible and comfortable dressings that adapt to any area of ​​the body and are suitable for sensitive skin.

Clean and disinfect the wound and, if necessary, stop the bleeding. Disinfect, rinse and dry the wound completely. Rinse with saline and dry the wound edges with a sterile dressing. Open the sachet, then hold the dressing by the two flaps of protective paper. Carefully press the edges. The dressing may remain in place for up to 7 days. Check that the individual sterile packaging is intact before use. Avoid applying tension when applying the dressing. Check the wound or puncture points and the surrounding area regularly for signs of infection, such as unusual pain, redness, edema, odor or suppuration.
