Opticol GL is a medical device. It is a sterile product, without preservatives, clear and viscoelastic, it forms a protective film of the cornea. Contains sodium hyaluronate, a sodium salt of hyaluronic acid which, due to its physical properties, forms a uniform, continuous and long-lasting film that protects the epithelial layer of the eye, without impairing vision. It allows to obtain a prolonged relief of the discomfort associated with: Mechanical stress, caused for example, by the use of rigid or soft contact lenses, or during interventions of ophthalmic diagnosis. Environmental stress conditions caused, in particular, by the action of air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness or air pollution caused by, for example, cigarette smoke. Visual fatigue caused by intensive use of vision due, for example, to the use of computers, microscopes or during prolonged use of motor vehicles. It is a preservative-free solution, it is well tolerated in long-term use. Suitable for contact lens wearers. It is not necessary to remove contact lenses when applying the product.

Do not use the product if the single dose is damaged. Do not touch the eye with a single dose. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the components of Opticol GL. Use only once. Since Opticol GL does not contain preservatives, any solution not used immediately after opening the single dose should be discarded. If you are using another ophthalmic solution / ophthalmic ointment at the same time, wait about 15 minutes between applying each product. Opticol GL should be the last to be administered. Do not apply in case of infection or eye damage. The sharpness of the vision may be temporarily reduced after application; do not drive or use machines until your vision is back to normal. Opticol GL should not be used after the expiry date stated on each single dose and on the outer carton. Opticol GL contains phosphate buffer. In case of prolonged use and corneal dysfunctions, Opticol GL may cause the precipitation of calcium salts in the cornea.
