Opticol is a transparent, sterile, viscoelastic tear device for corneal protection. Protects, hydrates and lubricates the ocular surface, prevents further discomfort caused by: mechanical stress: for example, during and after wearing contact lenses or ophthalmic surgery or diagnostic procedures; Environmental stress: eg due to air conditioning, wind, cold, dry air, pollution, tobacco smoke; visual stress: caused by prolonged activity in front of the computer, using a microscope, driving a vehicle. It is a sterile isotonic sterile solution applied by the hyaluronic acid salt, in order to integrate an insufficient tear secretion and restore the physiological conditions of the tear film: Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide that has the ability to adhere to the ocular surface mucosa, protecting it, moistening and lubricating it. Due to their mucoadhesive characteristics, they remain on the surface of the eye for a long period of time and stabilize the tear film. Sodium hydroxymethylglycinate (N-IG) that integrates the optic is an amino acid derivative that, due to its antimicrobial activity, is an effective preservative that does not exert harmful effects on the surface of the eye

Apply 1-2 drops to the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day or as directed by your doctor. Opticol can also be applied to the eye while wearing contact lenses. Do not use the product 90 days after first opening.
