Ocular® is a medical device. Ocular® is a 5% sodium chloride ophthalmic solution, sterile, hypertonic and preservative-free, available in a bottle. Ocular® is used for the treatment of corneal edema and, due to its physical-osmotic properties, for the removal of excess fluid, improving vision. Ocular® is especially indicated in the postoperative period of eye surgeries (eg cataract surgery) and after diagnostic ophthalmologic interventions (eg gonioscopy), if an imbalance in the osmotic balance of the corneal tissue occurs. Warnings and Precautions: Do not use this medical device without medical advice! Do not use Ocular® if the snap ring on the cap is broken or if the bottle is damaged. Do not touch the dropper end of the bottle to the eye. In these types of corneal disorders, you should avoid wearing contact lenses. If you cannot avoid using contact lenses, you should remove them before applying the product.

Wait at least 15 minutes before putting the contact lenses back on. Inform your eye doctor if you are using other eye care products at the same time. You must wait at least 5 minutes between the two applications. After administration there may be a burning sensation and/or irritation in the eye. Do not use this solution after the expiry date shown on the bottle and carton. After first opening, use within 90 days.
