Mepore can be used on a wide variety of wounds that have low to moderate fluid levels. This includes surgical wounds, minor burns, blows and abrasions. Absorbent, self-adhesive and air-permeable dressing.

Cut to the appropriate size. Remove both protective films, exposing the adhesive surface that will allow the initial fixation of the adhesive. Apply the edges of the adhesive gently but firmly in order to obtain an adequate adhesion. Do not stretch the dressing while applying it. Care should be taken that Mepore is not applied under tension. This is particularly important when the dressing is applied over joints. The frequency of dressing changes will depend on the amount of fluid in the wound .
