Leukosan strip is made of skin-coloured polyester/polyamide non-woven fabric covered with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. Leukosan strip has rounded edges, is flexible and extensible, with high porosity and permeability to water and air and good adherence to the skin. Leukosan strip is an adhesive tape for closing wounds, used as an alternative to suturing with threads, or specific surgery to close accidental wounds and scalpel incisions, by adhering the adhesive to the skin and bringing the edges of the wound together.
