It contains jujube bark extract, as effective as piroctone olamine.

Excess sebum can promote the overgrowth of Malassezia, a yeast involved in the appearance of redness and intense itching. It can also accelerate the cell renewal process, causing oily flakes to adhere to the scalp. This makes the scalp more sensitive and vulnerable to external agents.
