L-Mesitran Ointment® - Gel Tube with Clinical-Grade Honey 20g

When L-Mesitran comes into contact with the wound, fluids are drained from the surrounding tissues, creating a moist environment favorable to wound healing. This stimulates the wound healing process, facilitating the autolysis of necrotic and devitalized tissue, helps prepare the wound bed, and promotes epithelialization.

Contains antibacterial properties.

It dilutes gradually and can be easily removed in accordance with clinical protocols for wound cleansing. Prevents the dressing from adhering to the wound bed.

Due to the use of natural ingredients, each batch may vary in color (yellow - brown) and viscosity and may contain visible sugar crystals. These variations will not affect the effectiveness and use of the product.

Indications:
Superficial and acute wounds, e.g., cuts, abrasions, and areas where skin has been removed for transplantation.
Superficial and partial-depth burns (1st and 2nd degree).
Chronic wounds, e.g., pressure ulcers, venous, arterial, and diabetic ulcers.
Oncological wounds (to help deodorize and debride). Acute infected wounds and surgical wounds (post-operative).

48% clinical-grade honey, clinical-grade hypoallergenic lanolin (Medilan®), sunflower oil, cod liver oil, Calendula officinalis, Aloe barbadensis, vitamins C and E, and zinc oxide.

Apply a thin layer of gauze and place over the lesion. Change dressing once a day, or once every other day. Use until full recovery from injury.

Depends on the amount of exudate and the needs of the wound. Reapply the product when it has dissolved (approximately once every 24-48 hours).
