Inadine Povidone-iodine compress is a non-adherent dressing. INADINE consists of a low-adhesion viscose mesh fabric, impregnated with a polyethylene glycol base containing 10% povidone-iodine. Indicated both for wound protection, even if infected, and for the treatment of wounds and can also be used to prevent infection in minor burns and superficial traumatic wounds.

INADINE is indicated for the Prophylaxis and Treatment of Infection: The frequency of changing the dressing depends fundamentally on the condition of the wound. If exudate production is high, a daily change is probably necessary; but if the wound is relatively dry, the interval between changes may be prolonged. Discoloration of the dressing indicates loss of effectiveness of the antiseptic, at that time the dressing should be changed.
