The INADINE non-adherent dressing consists of a low-adherent viscose mesh fabric impregnated with a polyethylene glycol base containing 10% iodopovidone. It is indicated both for wound protection, even of infected wounds, and for wound treatment, and can also be used to prevent infection in minor burns and superficial traumatic wounds.

Indicated for infected wounds, but can also be applied as a preventative measure against infection in minor burns and minor traumatic injuries with skin loss. INADINE is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of infection: The frequency of dressing changes depends primarily on the condition of the wound.

If exudate production is high, a daily change is probably necessary; but if the wound is relatively dry, the interval between changes can be prolonged. Discoloration of the dressing indicates loss of antiseptic effectiveness; at this point, the dressing should be changed.
