Grassolind neutral are neutral gauze pads with petroleum jelly for treating wounds. Its wide interlacing of cotton gauze impregnated with dehydrated ointment is composed of petroleum jelly, monocarbon diglycerin ester and fatty acid dicarbon and carbohydrate wax, microcrystalline. Grassolind neutral allows the exudate to reach the secondary and absorbent layer, thus preventing the accumulation of secretions. Vaseline ointment keeps the edges of the wound intact, promotes granulation and epithelialization and prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound, allowing them to be removed non-traumatically. Grassolind neutral is indicated for the general treatment of wounds, especially for superficial exudative wounds such as abrasions, lacerations, deep wounds, burns, scalds, acid burns, to cover the donor and recipient areas of grafted skin, in plastic and cosmetic surgery, removal of nails, circumcisions, etc. Due to the neutral properties of the fat base, Grassolind is especially useful in dermatology and for patients with sensitive skin or sensitive to certain medications.
