Fimo Protesan Mono Denture Repair Kit

Kit for temporarily repairing broken dentures and re-attaching teeth. Its special formula does not damage the dentures until they are finally repaired.

The repair does not eliminate the causes that caused the breakage. It is advisable to consult a dentist.

Contains: 1 block of plasticine, 1 spatula, 1 dropper, 1 piece of emery paper, 2 cc ampoule of methyl methacrylate, 1 glass of 1.7 g of polymethyl methacrylate.

Clean the prosthesis and dry it well. Rub with the emery paper for about 5 minutes on each part divided by the break, until the surface becomes rough. Do not touch with any instrument or apply the paste on the surface to be joined, do not scrape the surface to be glued with the sandpaper, but only the upper part of the prosthesis. Remove the block of plasticine from the package and place it on a flat surface. Place the parts of the prosthesis separated by the break into the block of plasticine, making them match up. Make sure that the parts are well joined and fixed. Open bottle A, which contains the pre-measured powder, add 35 to 40 drops of the liquid contained in bottle B, using the appropriate dropper. Mix with the spatula until obtaining a homogeneous compound of sticky density. Using the spatula, apply the compound to the joined parts, along the entire length of the break, until obtaining a thickness of about 2 mm, with a width of 5/6 mm, covering the surface previously sanded with the emery paper. Dampen the tip of a finger with liquid B and even out the applied layer. Wait 15 minutes to ensure that the compound has hardened perfectly (the hardening time depends on the ambient temperature). The possible presence of a white ring does not alter the repair. Remove the prosthesis from the block of plasticine. Clean the prosthesis again of any plasticine residue. Remove any residue of compound that may have remained after the repair with the emery paper. Removing a tooth from the prosthesis: - clean both the tooth and the cavity with a piece of cotton soaked in liquid B - introduce the compound into the cavity and place the tooth - moisten the tip of a finger in liquid B and then clean the excess compound around the tooth that has just been fixed - leave to harden for 15 minutes
