Dulcosoft® is a medical device that contains Macrogol 4000, a substance that works by retaining water in the colon, which favors the softening of the stool, and thus facilitates evacuation, making it more comfortable. In this way, it provides a natural feeling of relief from constipation. It has no flavor and can be mixed with any hot or cold beverage such as water, fruit juice or tea. It should preferably be taken in a single dose, in the morning. As it is not absorbed, it has a high safety profile and can be taken by pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children from 8 years of age, the elderly, people with controlled sodium intake or gluten intolerant people, and by diabetics. It can also be useful in patients with hemorrhoids, complaining of hard and dry stools, to avoid excessive effort in evacuation. Contraindications: Do not take Dulcosoft® if you are allergic to macrogol 4000 or any other ingredient, if you have any severe inflammatory bowel disease or toxic megacolon, digestive perforation or risk of digestive perforation, ileus, suspected bowel obstruction, symptomatic stenosis or abdominal syndromes painful symptoms of undetermined cause.

Adults and children from 8 years of age: 1 to 2 powder sachets for oral solution. Dulcosoft® should not be taken for more than 28 days.
