In this way, it provides a natural feeling of relief from constipation. It has no flavor and can be mixed with any hot or cold beverage such as water, fruit juice or tea. It should preferably be taken in a single dose, in the morning. As it is not absorbed, it has a high safety profile and can be taken by pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children from 2 years of age, the elderly, people with controlled sodium intake or gluten intolerant people, and by diabetics. It can also be useful in patients with hemorrhoids, complaining of hard and dry stools, to avoid excessive effort in evacuation.
