Dermatix® is a transparent silicone gel, for topical use, which is indicated for the prevention and treatment of abnormal scars, significantly improving its appearance. Dermatix® is used successfully on scars resulting from surgery, trauma or burns, smoothing and softening scars, reducing redness, pain and the itching associated with them, being safe and effective on hypertrophic and keloid scars. Dermatix® Gel is easily applied to all areas of the body, including the face, neck and irregular and flexion areas. For a scar up to about 5 cm in length, one pack of Dermatix® Gel is sufficient for 2 months of treatment

It is very important to use Dermatix® every day for at least 2 months. It may take some time to see visible results, which is not to say that the gel is not being effective. The best result is obtained with the continuous daily treatment, and should be used as follows: Clean the area to be treated with water and a mild soap. Then dry the washed area. Apply a very thin layer of Dermatix® to the scar. Spread the gel gently. Allow to dry for 4 to 5 minutes before covering the treated area with clothing or makeup. If the Dermatix® does not dry, it is because you applied a very large amount. Remove excess product and let it dry again.
