After brushing your teeth, take a small amount of mouthwash (about a capful or recommended amount) in your mouth. Swish vigorously for 30 seconds to 1 minute, making sure the mouthwash covers all corners of your mouth. After rinsing, spit the mouthwash into the sink. Do not swallow. Avoid eating or drinking for about 30 minutes to allow the mouthwash to work effectively.
