Bepanthene Ointment protects and stimulates skin healing and is indicated in the following situations: prevention and treatment of diaper rash prevention and treatment of rash (sores) and nipple inflammation dry, irritated, rough or chapped skin ulcers and wounds from bedridden recent scars irritations after radiation therapy or UV Bepanthene Ointment contains the active substance dexpanthenol, also known as provitamin B5, an essential vitamin for healthy skin. Lanolin maintains the ideal level of hydration and forms a transparent protective layer that protects the skin while allowing it to breathe. Bepanthene Ointment does not contain coloring, perfume or preservatives (or parabens).

On the baby's bottom, gently apply a thin layer of Bepanthene Ointment at each diaper change, on the buttocks and genital region. To care for the nipples, apply after each feed, without the need to remove the residue before the next feed. For other product indications, apply several times a day, as needed.
