Aquacel® Ag Surgical is a sterile postoperative dressing, composed of an internal pad for contact with the wound, composed of Hydrofiber technology (sodium carboxymethylcellulose) and ionic silver. Silver in the dressing helps to reduce the risk of wound infection. The highly absorbent Hydrofiber central pillow captures and retains the exudate, transforming it into a soft gel that maintains a moist environment that aids in the healing process. Aquacel® Ag Surgical is a waterproof dressing that acts as a bacterial and viral barrier. The dressing is designed to adapt to changes in wound or incision geometry during body movement and post-operative edema

Remove the film from the dressing and immediately place it over the wound. Do not reuse.
