THEALOZ GEL is a fluid gel to be applied to the surface of the eye during the day and night.

You can use THEALOZ GEL when you have moderate to severe signs or symptoms of dry eye such as discomfort, stinging sensation or irritation in the eye.

These symptoms may be caused by external factors such as wind, smoke, pollution, dust, sun or situations of cold, dry heat, air conditioning, air travel or prolonged work in front of a computer screen.

THEALOZ GEL is preservative-free and prevents irritation and allergic reactions that can occur when using eye products with preservatives.

The use of preservative-free products is recommended when you have sensitive eyes or when using products for a long period of time.

THEALOZ GEL is a sterile, preservative-free, hypotonic, pH-neutral fluid gel, meaning it has the same pH as the surface of the eye and helps maintain hydration on its surface.

Its main components are trehalose, a molecule present in various plants and animals, sodium hyaluronate, another molecule naturally present in the eye, and carbomer (Carbopol 974P), which allows THEALOZ GEL to remain on the eye for longer.

Trehalose protects, hydrates, and has antioxidant properties.

For these reasons, it is an essential element in the anhydrobiosis mechanism used by certain small organisms (a slow metabolic state that allows them to survive in dehydrated conditions).

Trehalose also protects cells by stabilizing their membranes.

Sodium hyaluronate is a naturally occurring polysaccharide (complex molecule) found in the human eye that helps retain water, hydrating and lubricating the surface of the eye.

It keeps the gel on the surface of the eye, providing lasting relief and reducing the healing time of the corneal epithelium (the transparent layer of the eye).

Carbomer allows THEALOZ GEL to remain on the surface of the eye for longer, providing lasting relief from the signs and symptoms of dry eye.

The special combination of trehalose, sodium hyaluronate, and carbomer in THEALOZ GEL moisturizes and lubricates, but also protects the surface of the eye for longer and with greater comfort.

Trehalose 3g, Sodium hyaluronate 0.15g, Carbomer (Carbopol 974P) 0.25g, Sorbitol, sodium hydroxide, water for injection q.s.p. 100g.

1 drop in each eye, 2 to 4 times a day.

Wait at least 15 minutes between using two different eye drops.

Use THEALOZ GEL last.

Wash your hands thoroughly before use.

Remove one single-dose container from the strip.

Turn the single-dose container upside down and gently tap the container.

Open the container and press to release the gel.

Instill one drop into the conjunctival sac (the space between the eye and the eyelid), while gently pulling the lower eyelid down and looking upwards.

Discard the container, even if some gel remains.

If you wear contact lenses, you should remove them before using THEALOZ GEL.

After using THEALOZ DUO GEL, wait at least 30 minutes before reinserting your lenses.
