FISIOGEN FERRO™ FORTE is a food supplement of iron with ferric pyrophosphate in Sucrosoma® and vitamin C to be used to complement the daily diet in cases where iron intake from food is insufficient or when the diet requires additional supplementation. Sucrosome® is a spherical membrane of a phospholipid nature, just like the cell membranes in our body, so it can fuse with them, facilitating absorption. It is a liposome coated with an exclusive layer of sucrester that provides different properties, which is demonstrated when comparing the Sucrosome® with a liposome without all the components of this coating. Sucrosome® guarantees better adherence to supplementation, especially when administered for prolonged periods. The FISIOGEN FERRO™ technology, in which iron is protected within the Sucrosoma®, allows the gastrointestinal mucosa to be protected from the oxidizing action of iron, avoiding undesirable effects such as gastric intolerance and unpleasant metallic taste. Without coming into direct contact with the gastric mucosa, iron goes directly to the intestine to be absorbed.

Ingredients: iron source compound (ferric pyrophosphate, pregelatinized rice starch, emulsifiers sucrose fatty esters and sunflower lecithin), L-ascorbic acid, bulking agent microcrystalline cellulose, gelling agent gelatin, stabilizer hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, antihumectants magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide, and red iron oxide and titanium dioxide dyes.
