It is important to know that contour shadows should only be applied to perfectly treated and balanced skin! First apply a traditional primer, then continue with your favorite powder makeup, and only then start contouring. The rule of thumb is that the parts you want to suppress should be outlined with dark tones, while the parts you want to highlight should be given light tones.
